I started using Life360 because my sister recommended it, it does give me some peace of mind when my kids are out. It’s nice being able to check in and see where they are without having to text them constantly. That said, the location isn’t always spot-on, which can be frustrating. I still think it’s useful for family safety, but I really wish it were a bit more reliable

"Battery is a total loser"
This phone is such a battery-draining little gremlin. It dies early every single day, even when I’m not doing anything crazy on it. I’m constantly stuck looking for a charger like a clown, and it’s getting really annoying.

I keep getting notifications way too late, which kind of defeats the whole point of having them on. What’s even more frustrating is that whenever I ask about it, I seem to get different answers depending on who I talk to. One person says it’s my settings, another says it’s a known issue, and nothing really changes. It’s annoying

"Life360 made me more stressed, not less"
I got life360 mainly because I wanted the place alerts for my kid, but the geofencing has been all over the place. It’ll tell me they left school while they’re literally still sitting in class, and then other times it won’t even alert me when they actually get home. I’ve tried adjusting the place size, reinstalling the app, messing with settings, basically everything life360 suggests, and it’s still random. At this point, I blame the app more than my phone or anything else, because it just doesn’t seem reliable. For something that’s supposed to give parents peace of mind, it mostly just ends up making me anxious

I tried using the app on my older tablet, but it doesn’t seem to be supported and just keeps crashing or failing to load. It’s frustrating because a few similar apps I’ve used still manage to run on the same device without issues. Wish this one worked better with older phones and tablets.

"The location history just isn’t reliable"
I mainly got life360 because, i’m busy and I can’t always keep texting my kid asking where they’ve been. I figured the location history would help me check in without making a big thing out of it. But it really hasn’t been that helpful. It skips places, shows these weird jumpy routes, and sometimes says they were somewhere they definitely weren’t. For a paid app, I expected the history to be clearer and easier to trust. Instead, I still end up asking them anyway, so I’m not really sure what I’m paying for. Frustrating.

Life360 works well when everyone has solid data or Wi-Fi, but I can almost tell right away when someone’s signal is bad because the location just freezes or shows them somewhere they already left. Then we end up texting to double-check, which kind of defeats the point. It’s not useless, but my gut feeling is I can’t fully depend on it for my family.

I canceled my account, but I’m still being billed, which is really frustrating. What makes it worse is that it’s not clear what I’m supposed to do next or who to contact to actually get this fixed. I thought canceling would be the end of it, but now I’m stuck trying to figure out why the charges are still happening...

"This app keeps crashing"
Every time I try to open this thing, it just crashes. The location stuff barely loads anymore too, which makes the whole thing frustrating to use.

"Works well, but the privacy part wears me out"
Life360 does what I need it to do, which is help me see where my family is, and I haven’t had any real problems with it so far. But the whole data security side of it leaves me feeling a bit mentally drained. It asks for so much location access, and I keep wondering how that information is being stored or shared. I just wish they explained it all in a clearer, more straightforward way

"Easy to Set Up, Mostly Does the Job"
Setting up life360 was painless for my family. I sent out the invites, everyone tapped in, and the map started showing people without me having to explain a whole bunch of steps. Day to day, it’s simple too, I usually just open the app, check where everyone is, and move on. Even my parents figured out the buttons quickly, which says a lot. BUT THEN OUT OF NOWHERE, the location will just lag and I’m sitting there wondering if someone is actually still across town or if the app is just taking its sweet time. It’s not a huge deal, just annoying when it happens. Overall, it’s fine and does what we need most of the time

life360 does what I need it to do for keeping track of my family, and I haven’t had any major issues with that part. But i’m kind of regretting jumping into it before really understanding the pricing. Some features seemed like they were included, then once I started clicking around, it felt like they were tied to different plans or had limits I didn’t notice at first. I don’t mind paying for something useful, but I wish the costs and what you actually get were laid out more clearly upfront. Feels like I should’ve taken more time before signing up

"Great for keeping tabs after school"
I mostly use Life360 to check where my kids are after school, and for the most part it does exactly what I need. The live location is usually accurate and updates quickly enough that I’m not sitting there guessing (which is a huge relief). Every now and then it lags a little or shows them still moving even though they’ve already stopped, but it’s not a dealbreaker for me. Overall, it’s been really helpful for peace of mind.

"Usually Accurate, But the Delays Are Frustrating"
The location is usually right, so I’ll give them that, but there have been slight delays more often than I’d like. It’s not a huge issue every time, but when you’re relying on it to be accurate and on time, it gets annoying. I feel like some kind of compensation or credit would be fair when these delays happen.

I tried using the SOS thing once, and it took longer than I was comfortable with. Maybe there was some setting I missed or something going on I didn’t realize, but in the moment the app felt kind of confused and not very reassuring. Not really what I expected when you’re already stressed.
